ALTHOUGH relationships with parents determine in large measure our longer-term preferences, attitudes and values, during adolescence it is often relationships with friends that cause most concern and which pre- occupy the thoughts of young people as we grow up.

Originally known as BLUE JEANS BERKS (bjB), the BERKS PASIKAT consisting of Malolos City youths namely: Ronnie, Gary, Christian, Jhay-Ar, Romelito, Edwin, Jeffrey, Jerome and other six supporting members was formed April 5, 2003. This was when the 2003 Summer Basketball League at Barrio Niugan, Malolos City was about to begin.

            The group was known such after the successful airing of youth - oriented program, BERKS on TV sometimes in first quarter of 2003. Just before the group was named BERKS, the six members were already been together for years with Vergel, although Vergel was lined - up to other team on BERKS forming year, he was considered BERKS original.

            Good team - up worked and the group ended - up 2nd Runner - Up (Summer League '03) and The Over - All Champion (Year-Ender League '03) upon the conclusion of two leagues on its discovery year.
